Amy Gillies
Hail and Ride
There is a bus stop outside my parents’ house.
It is invisible but not imaginary.

Are often invisible but not imaginary.
Image ID: A scanned double page spread of the introduction to The Lord of the Flies by William Golding. Much of the page has been redacted by a biro pen and what remains are two short poems that read ‘they emerged all at once, vulnerable’ and ‘The unobtrusive survival suspended. we are suddenly carried out to sea, and this is real to us,’
Image ID: A photograph of a woman with short pink hair who is wearing a long white lace dress standing in front of a strong, condensed light in a dark room. Behind her is her studio wall on which hangs various artworks and her desk. She has just completed a performance and stands looking to the camera with an indifferent expression.
